It's an easy recipe for an aperitif!

Ingredients

Cookware

  • A toaster
  • An oven with a rack for broiling


Preparation

  1. Cut the tomatoes in half.
  2. Cut the mozzarella into large rounds and then slice into smaller sticks.
  3. Toast the slices of bread in a toaster.
  4. Rub the tomato slices on the toasted bread.
  5. Fold the ham and place it on top of the bread. The ham should not be bigger than the slice of bread.
  6. Put a mozzarella stick in the hollow space of each fold of the ham.
  7. Sprinkle with basil or parsley.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  9. Place the bread slices on an oven-proof dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  10. Broil for 10 minutes.
