  • 2/3 cup (15cl) of red wine
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 1 dash of lemon juice
  • 1 clove
  • 1 piece of cinnamon
  • 1 orange slice, untreated


  • 1 large saucepan
  • 1 colander


  1. In a large saucepan, heat the wine, sugar, lemon juice and spices over medium heat for 10 minutes to dissolve the sugar and steep the wine in the spices

  2. Pour in a glass, filtering out the spices.
  3. Add an orange slice

Final Thoughts...

A drink that will warm you up with one glass, once hot!
(But to be consumed in moderation!)
