4 ripe bananas (but firm so that they don't fall apart)
1 tablespoon (20g butter)
.
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons (30g) raisins
1 orange (or 1 lime)
1 packet of vanilla sugar, or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
.
1/4 cup (50ml) rum
Cookware
1 juice press
1 pan/skillet
Preparation
Peel the bananas. Squeeze the orange to obtain the juice and rinse the raisins
Put the butter in a pan and brown the bananas, that can be cut in 2, over low heat for about 4 minutes on each side. Then sprinkle with sugar and add the raisins, orange juice and the vanilla packet, and simmer for 5 minutes
Once the five minutes has passed, pour the rum into the pan and ignite with a match; make sure to turn the pan so that the alcohol burns off completely and serve immediately.
