Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cup (210 g) of flour
- 1 1/4 cup (240 g) of sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 5 eggs
- 4 cups (1 liter) of milk
- 200 g of pitted prunes
- 1/3 cup (75 g) of salted butter

- One 8 x 1.5 inch (20 x 4cm) baking pan

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 464°F (240°C)
- In a bowl, mix the flour (210g) with the 5 whole eggs and the sugar (240g) and the teaspoon vanilla sugar
Gradually add 1 liter of cold milk until you obtain a smooth mixture
- Cover the baking pan with a large layer of salted butter (35 g)? Add the pitted prunes (200g)
and pour the mixture on top
- Place in the oven and cook for an hour : first 464°F (240°C) for 15 minutes then at 400°F (200°C)
- Remove from the oven and add the biutter (35g) cool on a wire rack (so that the bottom of the pie does not soften)
- Serve cold.
